About me

Hey! I'm Martín, a developer based in Argentina. I'm currently studying Information Systems Engineering and I've recently graduated as a Systems Analyst.

Even though my studies are still ongoing, I have been into technology from a young age. My journey started with simple game engines like Game Maker and Construct, then I continued by learning Java to make Minecraft plugins, which unlocked a whole new world for me.

My work on Minecraft plugins became increasingly challenging through the years, going from simple "Hello world" plugin to complete servers with fully customised plugins. Besides this, I have also worked on different projects, and learnt valuable skills such as web development, back-end architecture, database management, and so on.

What I do

Curiosity has led me to take a peek into different fields like web development, game modding, servers & infrastructure, etc. Thanks to this, I am confident in my ability to work on projects that need a wide skillset.

Minecraft plugins
I create Minecraft plugins for servers of all sizes. This often includes things like minigames or whole gamemodes, cosmetics, administration tools, etc. Sometimes even projects that require handling technologies outside of what's normally used for a Minecraft server, such as scaling servers with docker or monitoring a network with Grafana.
Web Applications
I believe almost any business can benefit from a well-made web application, wheter it's a management platform, a store, a ticket system for customers, an internal tool for employees, etc. To achieve this, I work closely with my clients, making sure they can benefit from such an application, and that it actually has a positive impact on their business.
Game server panel set-up
Nowadays, there are a variety of tools that enable almost anyone to create their own hosting platform. Due to my familiarity with Minecraft, I have experience setting up Pterodactyl hosting panels, that allow users to create game servers (not just for Minecraft) dynamically. These panels can be configured for internal use by employees and partners, as well as third party use by clients.
Infrastructure & Networking
Having a Minecraft server or web application is great, but at the end of the day, it has to be hosted somewhere; this is what lead me to learn about infrastructure and networking. My experience consists mostly of hosting websites, web applications, databases, game servers and other services in Linux servers in a secure manner. Additionally, I have a good grasp of tools such as Proxmox VE, MikroTik, WireGuard and Cloudflare Zero Trust.
Chat bots
Using messaging platforms frequently makes you think what integrations could be useful. This made me dive into chatbots and eventually build different bots with different features and tools for platforms like Discord, Telegram and WhatsApp. These go from fun bots for friends to moderation tools for staff.
& more
I'm always interested in learning new skills and building new things. Even though change can be intimidating, nothing comes from doing the same thing in the same way over and over again.
Projects

This section is currently empty, I have plenty of personal projects to show that could use some polish. My plan is to eventually set up a proper project showcase, and even public demos for some of my projects.
